"It would be very incriminating - we can learn that word later." - Angel Gabby.
Overview[]
Jonah's new distrust of the description his mother gave of his childhood increases his determination. Having greater evidence of Gabby's intimidating devotion towards him, he wonders what must've eventually ended their relationship.
Plot[]
Jonah briefly relays that his mother may have mislead him about his childhood before diving straight into the tapes with the claim that Gabby broke character mid-show. Without showing the VHS version of the episode, the VCR recording has Gabby interrupt Francis during a lesson about the armor of Gob to ask Jonah to "nod once if he's not coming back for a while." She then leaves Francis' side to walk Jonah through a vague disassembly and hiding of an object.
Once the object is hidden by Jonah, Gabby dawns the armor of God and tells Jonah that she hopes he'll never have to wield a weapon, but that as his guardian angel, she'll always be ready. Jonah wonders what's happened to her since then that she wouldn't still be here in the present.
Trivia[]
- The title of the "Angel Hare" episode featured is "Armor of God".
- The title 'What Big Ears You Have' is in reference to the story of Little Red Riding Hood, whose titular character says the phrase to the wolf pretending to be her grandmother.
