"This shall be the ground from which my wrath shall grow and thrive" - Maddy
Premise[]
Plot[]
Maddy, Richard, and Zig are transported into a detective office and take on a stiff, Syncro-Vox style — Richard and Zip take on human appearances, while Maddy briefly flashes between a human form and an anthropomorphic hare form before settling on the latter. Zig is greeted by Beverly, Zig's partner. She reveals that her world is located in an unaired, scrapped pilot of "It's Wild Here!", but remains optimistic that her world can still find an audience due to the recent nostalgic trends. Beverly incapacitates Maddy by turning her into her human form, leaving Maddy unable to figure out how to move, and announces that, having overheard Maddy's plans, she was going to take her place. Maddy calls Richard to fight Beverly, but he refuses, stating that he knew Maddy's true reason for leaving her show — and her only agenda — was to get back at Angel Hare. He, Zig, and Beverly then leave Maddy to make YouTube shorts. Now alone, hating "It's Wild Here!", and unable to do anything but watch the shorts receive attention, Maddy realizes that she misses home.
During one of the shorts, Beverly tosses Richard a gun, which he uses to shoot down the wall between them and Maddy, revealing that he had been pretending to go along with Beverly's plans in order to find a way to get home. Beverly tries to stop him by pointing to the attention and how his world was now gone, but Richard states that he does not care what other's think because of his sense of self-worth and his friendship with Maddy. Richard takes Maddy and Zig and disappears from the world. Now alone, Beverly looks at a document featuring the show's first comment and realizes her own self-worth.
The three return to their home world, the background desolate and burnt down. Maddy enjoys the new setting and decides she wants to stay on the air in order to plot against the main show for as long as she wants; Richard states that he will always be by Maddy's side. Maddy blushes out into a more fluid character, mirroring the end of Tape 6, and flies towards the screen.
In a post-credit scene, Zig rescues what is left of the scrapped cheetah character.
