Francois, also known as Friend Francois, is a minor character who first appeared in Season 3. He was formerly a friend of Angel Cammy and was the "Fran" of Hyrax in the Rocks, however he had left the game prior to the events of the season.

The empty Jester frame after Francois' departure
Francois first showed up as an easter egg in the Angel Hare Trading Cards set as a lemur before making his "official" appearance in Disc 1, playing the role of the Jester in Hyrax in the Rocks, a character who in the original game was seemingly falsely accused for kidnapping the princess. It is unknown what Francois actually did as the Jester, although he likely played an advisor role that complemented Angel Cammy's quests. After his departure, the Jester character became vacant, and as such an empty portrait appeared whenever anyone tried to talk to the Jester.
In the main series, Francois never made any official appearance, as the Jester shown in VultureWare's video was from an untouched copy of Hyrax. In fact, his name was not mentioned in the web series until the final episode. Francois did make a cameo in the soundtrack music video, showing up in his Angel Hare form playing the piano alongside Cammy when "Alibis" was playing. Likewise, the final photo during the credits of Bonus Disc 1 may have shown Francois' design in the Wylde Hare universe, albeit his face was obscured.

Despite being Cammy's "Fran", Francois became fed up with how Cammy was neglecting their relationship while helping Segen, and as such voluntarily left the game, with Cammy not even knowing when they left. Their relationship served as a foreshadowing to what eventually happened to Cammy and Segen.
