"They're used to manipulating your down-and-out, vulnerable type" - Angel Zaggy"
Overview[]
As the group ponders what happened to Cam's "Fran", they realize that they are unable to move along as a group, leaving Jonah to complete the game by himself.
Plot[]
Jonah remarks how each television show represents their respective angel's character, and shows concern over Cam's state due to the the desolate state of Hyrax in the Rocks. He asks whether Cam's "Fran" is truly gone or just not present, and Zagy points out how Francis never went missing in Angel Hare and remarks that, with how lonely and incomplete the game had become, he didn't blame the "Fran" for leaving Hyrax in the Rocks.
The next location the group had to visit was the Dark Forest. However while Jonah was able to move on, Gabby and Zag failed to follow him. As Jonah tried to summon the rest of the group, Hyrax shows up instead, telling Jonah that there was no party and that the command was invalid. Jonah then tries to to pull up a help menu and reload the save file, however in both instances Hyrax continued to block the command from proceeding, saying that they should instead ask around for the princess and that there was no save file to restore.
With no other option, Jonah returned to the cave, where Gabby asked where he went, not knowing that Jonah had moved onto the next location. Realizing that Jonah will have to finish the rest of the game alone, Francine questions whether Cam would get along with him. Gabby tells Jonah that Cam's game will be something that Jonah will not be used to, as Cam's goal is to have Jonah follow the set path that Cam created. She tells Jonah to be careful, trusting him to finish the rest of the game alone.
Also trusting in Gabby's judgement, Jonah moves on to the Dark Forest, leaving Gabby and Zag behind. Although Francis questions whether the missing "Fran" wasn't on purpose, Francine disagrees, saying how there were only two ways for a "Fran" to go missing: they either got fired or quit themselves.
