While never appearing outside the Letters videos, demon hares are a large speculative part of the fanbase. Francis mentions a diverse lexicon before stopping himself from making mention, and while he does say they can appear non-literally as opportunities or feelings, he doesn't say that that's always the case. Before he cuts himself off in the first letters, he begins to bring a drawing into frame, but only allows a small top portion to be shown which appears to be horns on long-eared animals and a whiskered animal's gaping mouth, overlapping a pair of triangles.
