"Y'all are really writing a lot...!" - Friend Francis.
Overview[]
Still on his own as host, Francis continues answering questions mailed in from fans - until a particular question generates an unexpected response.
Plot[]
An eager Francis continues to fill in for Gabby, answering Angel Hare fan mail questions. One letter, however, asks questions about Jonah, and in response Francis begins to visually malfunction. The character art begins to jump and contain static, and by the end of the episode, assets and background art flip and pop in and out until one piece at a time, the whole scene disappears as Francis signs off.
Questions[]
- "Are there other types of angel animals?" and "Are there other magical creatures?" Francis says that there's no such thing as magic, and that creatures claiming to be magical are unholy apparitions with manipulative intentions. He begins to mention other angel animals but the scene cuts off.
- "Is there anyone in the woods besides the angel and the badger?" and "Will there be more friends showing up?" After showing slight dismay at being referred to as 'the badger' rather than his name, Francis confidently says that the forest is always buzzing with life. After peering through the window, however, the scene is barren and he hesitantly asserts that it's just a particularly quiet day.
- "What are Gabby's duties?" and "Do other angels come down to help?" Francis says that Gabby has a lot of angel friends and gestures to an artistic depiction of what appears to be Gabby alongside two other angel hares.
- "How do you get these letters and do you know where they're coming from?" Francis, confused, says that the letters come in the mail like any letter would, and that they come from friends who tune in to the show.
- "Do you know how you became Jonah's guardian angel? Do you remember anything about Jonah?" Francis' head begins drifting at an unnatural tilt while reading and his eyes become TV static before the scene jumps ahead.
- "How high can Gabby fly?" Francis says that he's seen Gabby fly so high that she disappears into the sun.
Credits Banter[]
Francis can be heard during the credits finding a last letter, but as he's unable to pronounce the writer's name, he abandons it. The name he's trying to pronounce is that of Francis' voice actor, Venaimin.
Trivia[]
- Francis' answer about where the letters come from, "curious little writers just like you, tuning in to watch your friends" implies that Francis is aware that he is part of a show that's being watched by viewers.
